Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes posted his second-lowest fantasy score of the season in Sunday night's win over the Chargers. He threw for just 210 yards and 1 TD on 24-of-37 passing (5.68 yards per pass attempt). Mahomes sits 15th among Week 14 QBs by ESPN scoring, with Monday night's game still to go.
Mahomes has completed just 60.2% of his passes at 6.2 YPA and tossed only 2 TDs over the past two games, the first of which came against a weak Raiders defense.
He currently sits just 13th among QBs in both total fantasy points and points per game for the season, with just three weekly finishes higher than QB14.
Combine that with the seventh-worst remaining QB schedule by our adjusted fantasy points allowed, and Mahomes doesn't look attractive for the fantasy football playoffs.
Playing at Cleveland (Week 15) and at Pittsburgh (Week 17) -- in likely cold weather -- doesn't help.
