McPherson doesn't need surgery and should be back before the end of the season, but feel free to drop him from fantasy rosters. The Bengals signed K Cade York, who's made just 71% of his 34 NFL FG attempts, to replace McPherson. Despite a nice Week 14 spot in Dallas, we'd look elsewhere for your fantasy kicker.

The Commanders released K Cade York and signed K Austin Seibert. York went 0-for-2 on FGs in the opener, missing from 47 and 56 yards. He also had a kickoff go out of bounds. Seibert was Cleveland's kicker back in 2019 but has bounced to multiple teams in the four seasons since. He sports a subpar 80% career FG conversion rate. You should be able to do better in fantasy lineups.

Mason Crosby is set to kick for the Giants in Monday's game vs. the Eagles. The team placed K Randy Bullock on IR earlier this week, and K Cade York hurt his quad on Thursday. So the 39-year-old Crosby will make his 2023 debut for the 5-9 Giants. You should be able to do much better in fantasy lineups.
