Lions TE Sam LaPorta posted a 7-111 receiving line on 10 targets in Sunday's loss to the Bills. Those numbers easily marked season highs in all three categories and clearly got a boost from Detroit throwing a season-high 59 passes.
LaPorta's obviously not likely to keep the target counts up, but his playing time has improved since he returned from the missed Week 11 game.
Sunday marked the fourth straight game for the TE with 90% playing time or more. His 97% snap share against the Bills marked a season high, according to Pro Football Focus.
LaPorta's a decent option the next two weeks. But Sunday also marked just the second time among the past six games that he exceeded 3 receptions.
