Jalen Hurts Manages a Quiet 300 Yards

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw for 311 yards in Sunday's win at New Orleans. It was a just-OK performance that included Hurts throwing a first-half INT in the end zone and losing a fumble early in the second quarter.

Hurts hit TE Dallas Goedert for more than half of his yardage (170 yards, 54.7%), including a 61-yarder late in the fourth quarter to set up the game-winning score.

Hurts threw no TD passes and rushed for just 25 yards on eight attempts, with no scores. He sits just QB19 in fantasy points with the Sunday night and Monday night games yet to go.

Just as importantly, Hurts lost WR DeVonta Smith to a concussion in the second half. That means he could be without his top two WRs in Week 4, after A.J. Brown lost the past two games to a hamstring injury.

Outside of those WR injuries, this didn't quite qualify as a worrisome outing. Hurts hasn't been especially sharp so far, including 4 INTs vs. just 3 TD passes through three games.

But he finished QB10 and QB2 in fantasy the first two weeks.

Philly gets what should be a favorable matchup at Tampa Bay in Week 4 -- where Denver scored 26 points in Week 3 -- before a Week 5 bye.
