Panthers TEs Tommy Tremble (hamstring, back) and Ian Thomas (calf) have been ruled out for Sunday's opener vs. the Saints.
HC Dave Canales confirmed on Friday that rookie TE Ja'Tavion Sanders will draw the start against New Orleans. The only other TE on Carolina's roster is converted WR Jordan Matthews. You shouldn't need to roll the dice on Sanders in season-long lineups, but he's in play as a DFS punt.
Sanders is minimum-priced $2,500 on DraftKings, putting him in play for both cash games and GPPs. He's less appealing at $4,500 on FanDuel.
